Evenings with me

After I got home from a rather busy day at work, I was relieved to be running tonight.  I had been watching the sun go down and I knew I would have to use my Don't Hit Me Lights, and I was thinking maybe wear a shirt vs. having a tank top on.
Don't Hit Me

The weather was still a bit hot.  I knew I should have run this morning, but, I also knew that I needed to be at work early to take care of things I had to get done.  There was no getting around that.  At first, I had taken off and as I'm taking my first few steps through the parking lot, I turn and see my dog and I decide that I should take her too.  She needs her exercise too.

It was lovely evening.  The sun was going down, I was loving the pace that I had set forth.  Not too fast, but the last week or so I haven't been running very fast.  We were going to do a full lap around my neighborhood and then to the lake and then back.  This was a very good run for me.  I would have like to have more of a distance, but for now, I'm focusing on not hurting as badly, so I had my compression socks on as well.

I was loving the way the light looked coming through  the trees.  Jus a beautiful sight to behold so of course, we stopped for more photos...

When we got to a certain point in our run, we came upon a pile of three garbage bags full of pine needles.  The dog was so uncertain of these things, I had to take her over so she could smell then.  Was interesting indeed.

We ended our run and I felt so good.  I am feeling good and ready to go run tomorrow morning.  Should be good times, doing a trail run.  Yay! I love those!!

Happy Running All~
